Hi, my name is Steve Jiang. I'm an electrical engineering graduate student here at University of Illinois. I came to US when I was 3 so that's why I made this post in English, as it is faster for me to write English. I do speak fluent Mandarin Chinese though. As you can see, the rent at this place is $1000. It's a 10 year old building (quite new). I've been with this landlord for a long time (4 years) so she was nice enough to give me a great deal. I'll be here for another 5 years since I'm going for a PhD. I've already signed the lease so I'm just looking for a roommate to sublet this summer or whole year with me. The rent is $400 on the 3rd floor, where it's nice and quiet. Utilities are not included but is negotiable (ie. summer). I am a quiet and clean person and go to bed quite early (not a party person). Therefore, I hope to find a roommate with similar lifestyle as me (no overnight guests for long periods please and clean after yourself and no loud music). This place about a 10 minute walk to the Union and 7 minute walk to Grainger library, which is VERY CLOSE and ON CAMPUS. It is on bus route of 13 Silver and Gold, which comes frequently.
