Wolfram|Alpha Localization Editor
The Wolfram|Alpha group needs a team player to create and streamline processes for their exciting Chinese language translation project. This is a temporary, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Create style guides for Wolfram|Alpha content in Chinese
- Archive and enforce style guides
- Review and monitor Chinese translations, identifying errors and suggesting improvements
- Facilitate discussion among translators, and between translators and developers to reach consensus in Chinese translations
Requirements:
- native level Chinese language, Simplified or Traditional
- deep knowledge of grammar in Chinese language
- understanding of trends in modern Chinese writing style
- experience in publication of journals, web content, and mass media
