General Description: Intern/Co-Op will help with workload in Engineering Department while providing student with opportunity to supplement academic training.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Testing for French standard, energy studies inside of cabinets, airflow studies inside of cabinets, packaging design, humidity validation for high/low units, Korean directive, recyclability report, sustainability report, RoHS evaluation and update of design, update old products to new engineering specifications, foam process capability study, foam density variation (insulative valve), ULT testing and data acquisition, refrigeration design testing VCC, electronic test fixtures for manufacturing, great ideas (change orders), CAPA testing, sound testing for standard cabinets, full load and partial load blood bank testing, verification testing for iC3 next generation, inputs of weights and dimensions, small design development projects.
Experience & Education Requirements:
• Currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering degree
• Have completed statistics and required calculus
• Proficient in Word, Excel
• Power measurements, basic instrumentation, 3D CAD
Position is Monday – Friday, 8am-5p and will begin either January 2013 or May 2013.
