Dear Colleagues and Friends:
Please see information and details for the 2012 Micro and Nanoengineering in Medicine Conference to be held between Dec 3 to Dec 7th, 2012 at Westin Maui Resort in Maui, Hawaii. The conference, which is sponsored by IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS), aims to bring together leading authorities in this important and emerging area to discuss the latest advances in micro and nanoscale technologies in biology and medicine. The conference will be relatively small (Gordon style) with all invited talks and will have many networking opportunities for the attendees.
This email is intended to serve as a reminder to submit for posters at the conference. We might have a very limited number of slots for oral talks also. The abstract is the same for oral or posters. The conference planning is well on its way and all details are being finalized. The website is at (http://mnm.embs.org/2012/) with the necessary information to help you make your plans. Also, the dates for abstract submissions are between July 1st and August 15th. Please be sure to submit the abstract as per the website. Please also encourage as many of your group members and colleagues to submit abstracts for the poster session, which we expect to be an excellent forum for exchange of ideas and in depth discussions.
