There is an awesome benefit show that Liberty in
North Korea (LiNK) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign!
Liberty in North Korea, or LiNK, is a registered student organization
at the University of Illinois U-C. Our mission is to raise awareness
of and funds for North Korean refugees. Our goal as a chapter this
year is to raise $2500 to help one refugee escape and resettle from
North Korea to either South Korea or America (which we're halfway to
reaching). With this show however, we can potentially raise enough
money to rescue not only one, but 4 REFUGEES if we PACK FOELLINGER
that night!!!
Sunday April 17, 2011 at 5PM at Foellinger Auditorium
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door! Follow the website
link at click on "LiNK Out Loud" or the "LOL" tab.
The performers for the night are:
YouTube sensations, Manny Garcia and Passion. And U of I's Dance 2XS
alongside Victor Kim from Quest Crew (who was featured on America's
Best Dance Crew!).
