Subject: Krannert Center International Fest 2011

Hello,

My name is Rachel Gluskin and I am the Community Outreach Director for
the Krannert Center Student Association. On Saturday, April 2, we our
hosting our annual International Festival in which we invite different
organizations on campus to share elements of their culture and/or
perform traditional songs and dances.

As a cultural program, I was hoping you would be able to put me in
touch with students/groups/artists/performers who would be interested
in participating in this event, either by forwarding the information
below to them and/or replying to this email with any suggestions. We
would like to have representatives from as many different cultures as
possible, and do not want to leave anyone out.

I-Fest will be held on Saturday, April 2 from 12-4 in the Krannert
Center Lobby. Additional information is below. We would love to see
you at our event, and please spread the word to others. Thank you and
I appreciate your help!

Sincerely,
Rachel Gluskin
Community Outreach Director, Krannert Center Student Association

My name is Rachel Gluskin and I am the Community Outreach Director for
the Krannert Center Student Association. On Saturday, April 2, we our
hosting our annual International Festival in which we invite different
organizations on campus to share elements of their culture and/or
perform traditional songs and dances. This year, however, we are
working on making it bigger and better than in recent years past. In
attempting to do this with our annual Winter Lights Festival, we had a
huge turnout from both campus and the Champaign/Urbana communities
(please see attached pictures of the event!).

The theme for this year's event is "Festivale" and will have a street
fair feel. I would like to extend an invitation to your organization
to join us and share your cultural traditions--especially those that
take place in the springtime. This may include setting up a booth with
art, information, and other cultural artifacts, and/or a performance.
This is a great opportunity to spread awareness of your organization
as well as your culture in general!

The festival will take place on Saturday, April 2, from 12-4 pm, in
theKrannert Center Lobby. We are able to provide tables, chairs, an
sound system/video screen, and power outlets. If you would like to
participate, please respond with the following information by March
4th:

Name of Organization:
Main Contact (name, email, phone number):
Will you be hosting a booth?:
Type of performance (if applicable):
Technical needs (microphones, audio/video, power outlets):

I look forward to hearing from you and we hope you can be a part of
I-Fest! Thank you!
