NavigatingAcademic Writing ---WritingGroups for CHINESE Undergraduate Students ü
Would you like to talk about US academicwriting in your own language? ü
Do you sometimes wonder what yourwriting assignments mean? ü
Do you struggle to talk with your professorsand classmates about writing? ü
Would you like to practice USconventions of using sources? Then you would want to join the FREE writing groups for Chineseundergraduate students hosted by the Writers Workshop. These groups arespecifically for writers whose first language is Chinese and we will meet in a 4-week session. Topics will betailored to your needs but may include organizing ideas, understandingdifferent writing tasks, understanding instructors’ responses and usingsources. The sessions will be led by an experienced Writers Workshop consultantwho understands struggles with writing in English. *In order to participate, you must attend the informational meeting tosign up and attend ALL sessions. *Studentswho have participated in Navigating Academic Writing in the past are noteligible.
