由此可以看出，只有非常有特点的人才能脱颖而出．
比如GPA 3.8,3.9就不用特别怎么强调了，如果是4.0或者3.99之类的就可以特别强调一下，还是满有用的．
而且，百分制和ABCD制，内部都会重新计算过的，浙大的算法不算其他学校也应该差不多，之前说的那个牛人，GPA3.99 (ABCD制，不是浙大的ws算法)他的简历就一页不到，就写个GPA, 然后一篇顶级刊物的第一作者的论文，然后加上个RANK，就好了．其他什么都不写．写多了反而会让优势不那么明显．
所以写简历的时候，凸显优势，回避劣势最好．
比如第三年成绩低，千万就别写了．更不要去解释，如果GPA低就别在简历上写GPA,如果出去交流的成绩不如浙大的，那就千万别写，否则别人觉得你不适应英语环境等等．

接下来，我贴一些经过第一批筛选后，第二批选人的list.大家观察哪种有效：
1) XXX:OFFERED.
PhD applicant from UT Austin. GPA 3.95. Finishing undergrad in 3 years. Worked on TRIPS project. Interested in TI compiler group.
Interested in compiler and programming languages. Good recommendation from Doug Burger and Stephen Keckler.
2) XXX:OFFERED.
PhD applicant from Stanford. GPA of 3.89. Interested in programming languages, functional programming and compilers. Two recommendations from his internships. Internships were not compiler/architecture relevant but recommend er indicate that he can deliver the assigned tasks at the end of the day.
3) XXX: OFFERED.
PhD applicant from Macalester. GPA of 3.73. Both Math and CS background. Interested in compilers and programming languages.
Internship in compiler group of Apple. Recommendation from Chris Lattner.
Has Experience with LLVM.
4 XXX: OFFERED.
PhD candidate from Caltech. GPA of 4.0. Interested in programming languages, compilers and parallel computing systems. Some experience with LLVM compiler backend. Interned for InfoSys Software Engineering Lab in India, worked on static analysis of source code.
5) XXX:OFFERED.
PhD candidate from UCLA. GPA of 3.95. Interested in Architecture, parallel systems and compilers. Interns at Symantec( with recommendations) and Apple(work on garbage collection based on LLVM).
Some experience with SESC simulator, programming FPGA boards.
6) XXX:
PhD candidate from Bangeladesh university of Engineering and Technology. GPA of 3.99. Interested in both architecture-compiler and database systems. Recommenders mostly from courses he has taken in AI and database, solid course work though.
7) XXX:OFFERED.
PhD candidate with Mastrs from U. Vrije in the Netherlands. Worked on analysis for bugs in device drivers, network drivers using multiple cores with non-coherent caches in BlueGene, and a user-space MINIX driver.
Emphatic recommendation letters. Recommenders say he's a motivated worker who follows through with projects. Interested in low-level system and OS software.
Excellent candidate. Should recommed to Steve.

PhD candidate from U. Belgrade in Serbia. GPA 9.72/10. Recommendation from Darko Marinov at UIUC. Co-developer of an automated testing tool for Java code. Software development internships with Google and Serbian Object Laboratories. Hasn't decided on a specific research area.

PhD candidate with Masters from IIT Kanpur. GPA 9.33/10 undergrad; 9.71/10 grad. Research and publications in data mining and cache architecture.
Master's project published in MICRO. Interested in computer architecture.
10) XXX:
PhD candidate from U. Bucharest in Romania. GPA 9.26/10. Worked on solving linear recurrences using GPUs at U. Singapore. Worked on network infrastructure and networked programs. Interested in parallel computing.

这些都是有效信息．名字我都删除了，后面有写offer的是说明给AD了，没的就说明第二轮被刷了．大家可以仔细对比啊．
所有的申请材料就剩下这些内容．
那些教授们就只看这么简单的内容，真的对你感兴趣，可能会调出你的材料看看．基本上看完这个list就决定发不发offer了．
大概主要信息就是:
毕业学校，GPA，推荐人，做过什么等等，剩下的就是学生的特点了，比如三年毕业，哪里实习过什么的．
反正自己总结吧．我就不多说了，聪明的小孩会知道材料怎么准备的啦．
