之前在网上就看到有差评(比如 http://www.yelp.com/biz/suburban-express-champaign),今天真给我碰上了。事情大概:之前帮人订了一张1/6 9am从ORD回C-U的票,然后今早(1/5)收到邮件说bus取消。
虽然它说由于"unanticipated driver shortage",并且“ that trip had only one passenger on it.“
然后 "It was therefore the logical choice to cancel.” 让我搭下午的bus。
我强烈怀疑它是不是真的shortage,而是看到只有一个passenger而不开了。
回复它邮件后,更糟了,什么脏话都出来了,并且说以后不做我生意了(跟yelp上面的评论者遇到的如出一辙)以下是邮件对话(脏话已用*和谐)。

We will be refunding your ticket and providing you with a coupon valid for $50 off another trip.
You are welcome to ride the bus which departs O'Hare at 4:00 pm using the ticket you have. Since we're refunding your purchase, that ride would be free.
We are very sorry that we had to cancel your trip. This is not something we like to do.
Please reply so we know you have received this email.

This is so absurd.As a reputed company,
you should NOT cancel the bus just because
there is only one passenger, and regard it as `logical'.
There is no terms and condition specified in
your website and I cannot find any detail in google result.
Furthermore, I don't see any refund and/or coupon.
Actually, the refund does not resolve the problem,
because this issue caused unexpected delay of the whole trip,
which may cause higher loss.
I am going to file a complaint in Better Business Bureau.

1) We will not be providing you with any coupons because we do not want your future business.
2) We will not be holding you a seat on a later trip. You should contact LEX for your present and future transportation needs.
3) We will not accept your business in the future.
You can expect a refund to be posted to your card within five business days.

Also, your logic is f**ked. If we're short drivers, do you think we're going to cancel the trip with the most people on it? Of course not, you idiot, we'd obviously cancel the trip with the fewest people on it. |
