The Association of Chinese-American Scientists and Engineers (ACSE) will hold its 20th annual conference on Oct. 13, 2012 at Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites Hotel (8500 West Bryn Mawr Avenue, Chicago, IL 60631). The theme of the conference is “China-US Coalition, Synergistic Path Forward”. The conference will be featured with plenary session in the morning (9:00AM – 12:00PM) and two breakout panel discussions in the afternoon (2:30PM-5:00PM).
Plenary speakers include Mr. Mike Frerichs, State Senator of Illinois; Dr. Daxi Li, President of Chinese Association for Science and Business, who has promoted the "Thousand Talent Program"and "Chinese Currency Exchange" as an overseas member of the Chinese People's Political Consulative Conference (CPPCC), Mr. Michael Rosen, President of Illinois Scient & Technology Park & Sr. VP of Forest City Group; Ms. Cathy Peng, Chief Business Development Officier, Ethertronics, Inc.
The afternoon breakout sessions are (1) Risk and Opportunity of Foreign Investment; (2) Water and Energy - Investment Potential and Prospectives
