Junior Developer
Wolfram|Alpha is seeking a Junior Developer to work in its Parser Group. This will be an entry-level position with the opportunity to become a more senior developer who can work on major framework projects. The parser team is a group of highly qualified, self-directed individuals who are accustomed to solving hard problems and making very complex technologies accessible for our users.
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Experience with Mathematica or with some other functional programming language (e.g. Scheme, Clojure)
- Working knowledge of Java; some working knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Parsing/linguistics background preferred
