1) Garage Sale to benefit Prairie School PTA
Time: Sat., October 15, 8-1:00
Location: Our Church--Grace United Methodist Church
2004 Pholi Rd, Urbana.
Transportation: Green Bus 50 arriving Sunny Crest Mall.
2) CHICAGO TRIP
October 15, CHICAGO, leave Urbana 7:30 a.m., return 10:00 p.m.
Trip includes: Museum of Science and Industry, Lake Michigan, University of Chicago Art Museum, downtown shopping on the Magnificent Mile, Display of history of the Bible in China, dinner in Chinatown
Our van is full. Wish we have a good trip!
3) BIBLE STUDY
Time: 7-9pm Oct 21,Friday
Place: Mike and Jie's house
If you are interested in coming, Please let us know your coming by Oct 20th. We will provide ride if you need.
4) POTLUCK
Time: Oct 23, Sunday after church service
Place: at our church
3) HALLOWEEN PARTY
October 31, 7 p.m. at Mike and Jie's house
Evening will begin after supper, it includes traditional American ham and bean soup and snacks, pumpkin carving, welcoming trick or treat children at the house, Halloween games
Cost: free-be our guests! Please let me know if you plan to come before Oct 28 so that we can buy enough food and pumpkins
Sunday Worship Service
Grace Church has an inspiring worship service each Sunday morning at 10:30, with special hospitality for internationals. The hour long event includes music, fun Bible dramas, short informative lectures on the nature of Christianity, discussion groups (in Chinese or English,) and lighting of prayer candles.

Time: 10:30 - 11:45 a.m
Location: 2004 Philo Road, Urbana
Transportation provided: 10:15am pick-up at Orchard Downs South Laundry. If you don't live in OD, please email us your address and we will pick you up at around 10:00am at your place.
The van will arrive at OD any time between 10:10-10:20am due to earlier pickups. Please be ready before 10:20 and the van will leave at 10:20 SHARP.

English Language Classes
Offered Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays
English Classes Have Begun
On Wednesday evening Grace International hosted its first English Class of the Fall season. In attendance were ten students from 3 countries -- China, Brazil, and Germany -- and 4 teachers.
We anticipate having at least 5 or 6 individual offerings for students across the Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday schedule.
We intend to actively solicit feedback from the participants this week, because we want this experience to be relevant and helpful; and we will add resources as required. Please email me back as soon as possible on what you mostly want to improve.
