Dear potential members: We had 12 girls and 11 boys came yesterday. Thank you ! Sounds like most of you love the BBQ activity, and want to establish an association. After talk to a lot of you, we came up with some initial ideas. Name Our Association Chinese BBQ Association is just a temporary name for our group. We need something better. If you can think about it and come up with an awesome name, please let me know. Once we have a good name, we will register our association at UIUC. In the future, we will have some positions open for our association. Membership Fee As an association, we want every member come to our fun activities all the time. We want to hold everyone together. After talk to most of you, we decide to charge a semiannual membership fee of 5 dollars. The membership fee will be like an association fund and only used for this association. Activity Fee Activities like BBQ
cost quite bit money. Therefor; all future activities association will charge a 5 dollars or more fee to each person who appears. For example, today’s BBQ activity was short on meat. According to today’s cost, the estimate of future BBQ activity charge should be around 10 dollars per person. We should have enough money to make a much better BBQ activity.
